2004 Season ABELE Racing is preparing the 2003 Champion NEALS car for the 2004 and assembling a brand new Allison Legacy car as a back up. Work is underway to run a SK Modified on Wednesday Nights at the Waterford Speedbowl in Waterford, CT for Art Barry's Spafco Race Cars and Parts. Art is the 2001 and 2002 Champion Owner in the NASCAR Featherlite Modified Series with driver Mike Stefanik. Tom Abele Jr. currently is working as an apprentice fabricator at Spafco to learn the art of building a championship car from end to end. Teaming with DNK Select Used Cars ABELE Racing is teaming up with the DNK Select organization and PASS Pro Stock Driver Johnny Clark. Johnny will share track information and help Tom develop his driving skills. At the September 5th Rowe Auburn 2nd Annual $20,000 “Little Dog 100” at Lee Speedway in Lee, NH - THE BIG NEALS event of 2004 - Johnny will drive the ABELE backup Allison Legacy car with the number 54.
